Many of us web-users are familiar with service terms such as url shortening and url redirection. we find it especially useful in instances where we can only refer to a limited set of character, like in twitter. At first glance it seems like the lru project is just one among many which provide this handy service, however since the very beginning of this project, the developers at nidea have had a broader vision at mind. More advanced web-users may be able to feel the difference between lru and similar projects which perform a simple url redirection. Now that a suitable base to be built on has been founded for the project, we have released lru’s beta version for public use. hope you enjoy shrinking your favorite urls.
